ENG | How were your beginnings as an illustrator of board games and career?
I’ve worked as an artist drawing puzzle and comic magazines for 10 years, then, as a hobby I decided to make a board game from the beginning (both art and design!). This game was Covil, which ended up being my 2nd game to be published.

ENG | Inspiration or references which have influenced your work.
In my years on comics, I’ve had the chance to draw a LOT of Scooby doo, Pixar, Cartoon Network, Peanuts, little lulu, and other licensed characters that I love. I wish I’ve had the chance to work with some Ghibli IP!

ENG | We love the art of «Dwar7s Fall». How was the creative process?
Few know, but Dwar7s Fall came to life at the same time I was immigrating to Canada. It was my first Autumn (as Brazil has no seasons but summer) and the fear from an upcoming winter was really dreadful to me. The game talks about how scary new beginnings are, as every time you build the board from scratch, disguised in a cute Dwarfs theme.

ENG | What game would you have liked to illustrate and why?
I would love to create one pokemon someday!

ESP | ¿Qué juego te hubiera gustado ilustrar y por qué?
¡Me encantaría crear un pokemón algún día!

ENG | Is the work of the board game illustrator recognized in your country or do few know who makes the board game illustrations?
I get a lot of love from fans in every event I attend to, anywhere in the world, and for this, I feel very grateful and lucky!
